Our team cover all areas of the Eastern States to carry out the fire protection installations of products and systems which meet the Flame Zone compliance requirements of Section 3 & Section 9 of:
Australian Standard AS3959-2018 Construction of Buildings in Bushfire-prone Areas.
Roof Elevations with a minimum setback distance of 10m from vegetation
A system tested to AS1530.8.2 which has achieved an FZ Classification (confirmed in a Report from a NATA Accredited Testing Authority) will be installed to the whole Roof, Fascia and Eave sections of these elevations. Or a system tested to AS1530.8.2 which has achieved an FZ Classification (confirmed in a Report from a NATA Accredited Testing Authority) will be installed to the Roof/Fascia & a system tested to AS1530.4-2014 & assessed IAW AS4072.1-2005 which has achieved an FRL of -/30/30 or 30/30/30 tested from outside/in (confirmed in a Report from a NATA Accredited Testing Authority) will be installed to the Eave sections.
Roof Elevations with a setback distance of less than 10m from vegetation
A system tested to AS1530.8.2 which has achieved an FZ Classification (confirmed in a Report from a NATA Accredited Testing Authority) will be installed to the whole Roof, Fascia and Eave sections of these elevations.
Wall Elevations with a minimum setback distance of 10m from vegetation
A system tested to AS1530.8.2 which has achieved an FZ Classification (confirmed in a Report from a NATA Accredited Testing Authority) will be installed to these Wall elevations. Or a system tested to AS1530.4-2014 & assessed IAW AS4072.1-2005 which has achieved an FRL of -/30/30 or 30/30/30 tested from outside/in (confirmed in a Report from a NATA Accredited Testing Authority) will be installed to these Wall Elevations.
Wall Elevations with a setback distance of less than 10m from vegetation
A system tested to AS1530.8.2 which has achieved an FZ Classification (confirmed in a Report from a NATA Accredited Testing Authority) will be installed to the Walls of these elevations.
