Creating Solutions

If you’re a local or international fire protection manufacturer with an idea, a product or a suite of products which you would like sell into the Australian market, let Trevor help you through the process.

Primary Services

  • Design the Test Specimen

  • Deal with the NATA accredited Testing Authority (Lab) on your behalf

  • Build the specimen

Once the test has been carried out and the Test Report (Your IP) is issued, Trevor can then get to work on the request to the lab for your Field of Application Report, depending on which lab is used, this will come in the form of a Regulatory Information Report (Warringtonfire Pty Ltd) or a Short Form Assessment Report (CSIRO). This process consists of:

  • Analysing the raw data to determine and justify the best possible Field of Application which can be written into your Report.

  • Designing the 3D Drawings (in lieu of CAD).

  • Describing the Schedule of Components.

  • Collating the data & justifying why you can have the FRLs for various specific applications.

Trevor then sends off a completely collated Word document to the FAS Team at Warringtonfire or the Assessments Team at CSIRO as a request for assessment inclusive of his justification for all of the solutions requested.

The RIR or SFA is not just your Primary Selling Tool but more importantly it’s the Evidence of Suitability documentation, which allows you to sell your products & systems into the Australian market for the specific applications contained within it.

Creation of Additional Selling Tools

  • Technical Data Sheet: Generally, a 1 or 2 page brief overview of the Product/System which highlights all of the Key Benefits, FRL achieved, size, weight of the product & its specific on site application. We put these together, author the content, design and produce the 3D Images in strict accordance with the concise details determined within the RIR or SFA.

  • Technical Installation Manual: As with any type of construction, the installers need to know how something goes together. In the case of a Fire Protection Product/System it must be installed in strict accordance with the concise construction details determined within the RIR or SFA. If the Product/System is not Installed correctly then it is a non-compliant Installation which is not just illegal, but a serious Life/Safety Issue. We put together, Step by Step Installation Manuals, author the content, design and produce the 3D Images.

  • Technical Installation Video: Extra 3D images can be produced whilst creating the Technical Installation Manual, then strung together into moving pictures, with either a voice-over of the Installation process or periodic text throughout the video.
